RE: Problems witch my pentech palm
First off, what spray pressures are you spraying at? Are you seeing any pressure inbalance during spray and if so, what is the pressure difference? What size module are you using? Need a little more information.

RE: Problems witch my pentech palm
Air pressure: 110 psi Spray pressure:emperature: tested to 1500 psi and 2700 psi Temperature ISO and Poliol: 167ºF
With the gun Pentech usually be differences between the pressure of the ISO and Polyol. It is very difficult to keep them equal.
Pentech says there may be differences of 500 - 700 psi between ISO and Polyol side. Pentech says it's normal.
When I work on a part with the gun Pentech there is a fog that contaminates everything around it. Everything is sticky. If I spray on any part of a contaminated piece then produces bubbles.
I use the module pattern mix PSG round 9001-13 and 9003-20 PCD.
need it to work well. is urgent. someone has this gun and speak Spanish?

RE: Problems witch my pentech palm
I don't speak Spanish but you should not be running off pressure like that. Sounds like your ISO Rich from what you have described. I would make sure that your module is drilled out accordingly so that they match in size, and I would also check your gun filter screens as well. Then I would look at the cold whip on the gun. If not properly cleaned from the last use, then you may have some blockage on the ISO side. If this is the case then you would be Resin Rich. Is one of your pressures running higher or lower than what you have your machine set at? Hope that you get it fixed soon. I'm sure that it is a simple fix, it is just finding it that is the problem. Maybe Dudley can also chime in and give you some pointers.

RE: Problems witch my pentech palm
Hi Vazquez and Benjy:
First off, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Sorry but have been out of the office. Benjy you are correct in the asessment. Vazquez, in order for the Palm Gun to perform well, you will need to drill out the orifices in the module to a minimum of 0.016 - inches each side. You can even go as high as 0.017 inches and this will significantly help with your problems.
The Palm gun works great, as does the new MG model. This is the setup / configuration that we have used in the schools and on projects.
Hope that this helps.
