VersaFlex Continues Commitment To Polyurea Training

Levels 3-5 of VersaFlex's training to be held July 12-15 in Houston, Texas

HOUSTON, TEXAS - July, 2011 - VersaFlex Incorporated is continuing its commitment to training contractors, owners and specifiers in polyurea coating and lining technology by holding training sessions in July at their Houston, Texas facility.

Dudley Primeaux, a leading expert in the polyurea industry will teach each polyurea class, which includes detailed handouts and PowerPoint presentations that cover every aspect of polyurea technology. VersaFlex passes on state-of-the-art technology and information to allow all professionals the ability to understand polyurea from its chemical makeup to the best practical application techniques.

The experts in polyurea technology will be covering training Levels 3-5 in VersaFlex’s next set of sessions.

Level 3 VersaFlex/PolyVers Product Information, which is free, is being held from 9a.m. to noon on July 12, 2011. In this class, you can learn about a wide variety of products and how each one is used. Products covered in the class include industrial coatings, abrasion resistant, aliphatic coatings, fire retardant clothing, moisture barriers, self leveling joints, waste water coatings, manhole rehab, primers, extreme chemical exposure finish coating, chemical resistant epoxy, grouting, tack coat and potable water systems.

Level 4 Surface Preparation is $349 and will be held 8a.m. to 4p.m. on July 14, 2011 and 8a.m. to 11a.m. on July 15, 2011. The class will teach students how to properly concrete and steel surfaces for polyurea. VersaFlex reminds us that can’t have a successful polyurea job without preparing the surface correctly. In this session, students will learn preparation techniques for various substrates and how to minimize problems on your jobs.

Level 5 Project Specifications is $349 and will be held 1p.m. to 4p.m. on July 12, 2011 and again at 8a.m. to 4p.m. on July 13, 2011. This session teaches students how to write proper specifications and how to read and work from specifications. It helps students determine whether they can complete a project in time and meet the specs while still making a profit. The session will help identify the expectations of a project before you start and navigate other trades and scheduling conflicting activities at the site.
